the problem with language is

the problem with language is that
it tries to hold what cannot be expressed
because they are not meant to be uttered but touched.
it forces what you feel to be imprisoned in words.
and feelings become prisoners of their walls.
and you will hear the groanings of sufferings.

the heart sets all these free. Bird.Clouds.
Light. Air. Hues. The color of sunsets.
The fog on the mountain tops. The dew.
The moisture under the leaves.

No words have ever the power to
completely hold them. Happiness. Joy.
and so is Sorrow. Lament. No words have ever put them to prison.

They are free. To drift. To flow. Waters cascading on the rocks.
They are free. To simmer. To float. To stay for a while. Then leave.

if you insist holding them in the palms of your words.
I tell you, you will be at a loss. You will be left
by the movement of emotions. Alone.
