just one lighted candle

i do not need much light

i will be blinded. i do not want to lose the dark completely.

i need some shades. blackness of the night.

it is not complicated. there are complements to speak of.

day and night. white and black. shades of grey.

i need them.

so in the darkness of my night, i do not demand

the sun. sometimes, i do not even like the fullness of the moon.

an array of stars would be too much for me.

do you remember when there were three stars in heaven?

i give them all to you, as though i own them.

i like it here. In the dark. With you.

we speak about love and its flowers and fruits.

we like the face of happiness winking an eye.

in the dark. lighted by just one candle.
